The Distribution of Aid materials for the victims of Mount Semeru’s eruption

December 4, 2021 – Mount Semeru, the , experiences a large eruption. The sudden eruption of Mount Semeru has claimed many lives and material losses which are increasing every day.

The rural communities around the foot of Mount Semeru were most affected. Their houses and fields were covered by the overflowing lava and ash rain from Mount Semeru. We need to consider it because most of them work as farmers. They can’t even make a living because the fields they used to work on were all buried by cold lava and hot clouds.

Knowing the news of the disaster, PT. Benih Citra Asia team rushed to prepare assistance for residents affected by the Mount Semeru eruption. So that on December 8, 2021, the PT. Benih Citra Asia team left for Candipuro District and Pronojiwo, Lumajang Regency where many victims came from that area. Arriving there, the team immediately distributed the aid that had been prepared for the victims who needed the assistance.
